In most colleges and universities the examination is used as a chief means of deciding whether a student succeeds or fails in mastering a particular subject. Although it does the job quite efficiently, its side effects are also enormous.
To begin with, examinations lower the standards of teaching. Since teachers are often judged by examination results, they are reduced to training their students in exam techniques. No subjects can be taught successfully merely through being approached with intent to take examinations. In addition, the most undesirable effect is that examinations encourage bad study habits. 中考英语成功与否关键在于复习。复习阶段的成功与否也决定着中考英语的成绩。因此，如何完成中考英语复习是一个关键的问题。在此，今天本人只是结合我校实际和自身体会， 向各位同仁谈谈我对中考英语复习的一些设想和做法。
第一轮是对课文基础知识复习阶段。根据一轮复习的特点，以基础知识和课本中出现的语言点为线索，以课本中出现的主要词汇、短语和句型为框架，精心设计，引导学生由浅入深，启发学生多方位进行思维。同时应注重基础词汇、词组、常用句型和课本对话等知识，并通过一些配套练习（优化设计及剑指中考）、培养学生的运用英语知识能力。在复习过程中，采取讲练结合，师生互动的一些必要措施来巩固和增强复习效果。做到如下几点:(一)根据复习内容，布置适量的难度适中的课堂练习和课后练习，做到精讲多练;(二)循环自我检测考试，阶段性测试。分单元或分册、分类。通过这种方式对语言基础知识的回顾与巩固，从而使学生能牢固地掌握词汇及基本语法，并能从中掌握较高级的词汇以及较为复杂的句子结构，形成语言意识和语言能力。
第二轮是对考点进行专项训练复习阶段。因为有了第一轮的复习，所以学生对基础知识掌握得比较扎实基础上，相应地提高要求，进行系统整理消化，抓住重点，加深理解，强化记忆。同时有针对性地指导学生记忆的方法，培养学生记忆的能力和答题的技巧，同时又针对历年中考类似题型进行强化训练，使学生在答题时做到灵活运用，触类旁通，举一反三。这轮的复习重要是专项复习。这几年的试题逐渐加强了对词、句型、语法、时态、阅读能力的综合考查。完形填空、阅读理解、补全对话都是以短文的形式出现，这说明了试题不仅要求学生掌握所学的词汇和语法知识，还要求学生结合文章大意对其进行综合运用能力。因此这几类题型很有必要进行专门性的操练。使学生达到一定熟练的程度，提高学生的阅读理解能力，同时也提高学生的答题速度。书面表达是学生最怕的试题，因此在第一、二轮复习过程中应该多加练习，逐渐培养学生的写作能力。这样做不仅能训练语感，还能为应试作文提供一定的语言积累，从而提高作文质量。另一方面也要针对单项选择、词填空、交际用语作专项的训练。同样做到\\\"讲--练--评\\\"，\\\"评--练--讲\\\"。
第三轮是对考前指导与综合性训练复习。主要目的是适应中考要求，提高应试技巧。本轮侧重培养学生审题解题能力，同时要在教师指导下进行综合练习和模拟测试，知识考查和能力考查并重，从而使复习达到良性的循环:知识--能力--知识。因为有了前两轮的复习，学生对知识已经有了一定程度的掌握，所以要求教师(一)全力投入到综合性的复习指导中，对学生进行适应性的操练，提高学生的答题速度。(二)对以前考生易做错的题，再次以试题的形式出现，让考生再做和再练。(三)在后阶段对考生进行心理培训和调节，以及在答题时应注意的细节。
总之，针对课标对中考提出的原则就是应该考查学生在英语方面的听、说、读、写等四种语言技能以及灵活运用语言知识、词汇知识和语法知识的能力。通过上述三轮复习，使学生从不同角度得到反复的复习和强化练习由浅入深，既有点的知识，又有面的综合，使知识系统化，使能力得到提高、加强。同时在心理上也得到相应的调节，使学生能从容自信地面对中考。
以上是本人针对中考对学生进行的复习计划，有不当之处还望各位老师批评指正，以便能更好地指导学生迎战中考。

2. 围绕中心，拟定提纲
书面表达评分原则有四条：
（1）内容要点；
（2）运用词汇和结构的数量；

（4）上下文的连贯性。

4. 不会表达，另辟蹊径
中考作文给分是以要点和语言准确度而定，不以文采打分。造句越简单准确越好，造复合句容易出错，容易被扣分，阅卷场上有句话：“错误面前人人平等，文采好不加分”。如遇到个别要点表达不出来或难以表达，可采用变通的办法，化难为易，化繁为简。总之，所造句子要正确、得体、符合英语表达习惯。
(1) 迂回而行
当汉语词义不会用英语表达时，可以想一个与这个汉语词义相似的几种词义。扩展思路，然后从英语中找出一个与其词义相近的代替。这样可有异曲同工之妙。
(2) 小词大用
汉语中有些语意看来很复杂很文雅，但在英语中可用一些常用词表达。下面这些词可能在你的书面表达中很有用：take, have, get, make, come, go, do, see, show, happy, nice, kind, help 等。
(3) 借花献佛
有时书面表达中需要的单词或词组或许在试卷中的其他地方出现。因为刚刚做过题，记忆犹新，那么就可信手拈来，为我所用。
5. 锦上添花，量力而行
如果你还有时间和精力，想把书面表达写得更好，那么，请注意以下几点：
(1) 句型多样化，不要I（We）??到底，使人觉得乏味。
(2) 适当使用一些并列句或主从复合句。
(3) 进一步描绘人或事物时，适当使用定语从句。
(4) 适当使用分词或分词短语，烘托谓语动词。
(5) 偶尔使用一下倒装句，增加新鲜感。
(6) 适当调换一下状语在句子中的位置，使句子不雷同。
(7) 上下句子紧接时，其中完全相同的成分可以省略，以节省篇幅。
6. 书写工整，卷面整洁
字迹要清晰，让阅卷人看得清楚，不可字迹潦草，难以辨认，要保持卷面的整洁。
7. 写完之后，勿忘检查
